Star Pads

Ceramic 5 point abrasive pads are for use on stainless steel and all metals. We carry 80 and 120 grit pads from 3M and our own Waters brand. 5 point pads (or star pads) are faster than square pads on OD & ID tubing, pipes, channels, fillets, corners and spotting on flat surfaces. Pad corners wear down consistently, exposing fresh abrasive as they go. The 5 cutting corners provide fast and accurate grind-blending.

Star pads can be used as alternatives to cross pads for stainless steel, steel and aluminum weld removal. Thin 5 point pads can be used on all materials and offer greater flexibility in sanding and chamfering.
