Zirconia alumina 1" x 18-27/32" sanding belts are 100% synthetic for high stock removal applications. They last longer and are sharper than aluminum oxide belts. These abrasive sanding belts are sturdy and flexible. Zirconia alumina belts are fully resin bonded to a strong YF-weight polyester that can withstand heat and high pressure grinding applications.
These belts are extremely versatile and can be used with plastics, rubber and fiberglass, and ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The zirconia grains can last 2-3 times longer than aluminum oxide grains on belts when being used for heavy-duty applications. Zirconia alumina belts can be run wet or dry.
